AIR SYSTEM TEST PROCEDURES
Air system testing and reporting shall be performed in accordance with instrumentation and procedures as defined within the 2005 NEBB
Procedural Standards for Testing, Adjusting and Balancing of Environmental Systems.
Instrumentation
All air system testing and balancing shall be performed with instrumentation in compliance with guidelines identified within the NEBB procedural standards. Selection of specific instrumentation for each application will be made to secure maximum accuracy level of test data. Listing of specific instrumentation and calibration records shall be submitted with final test report.
Sample Test Report Format if Requested
WATER SYSTEM TEST PROCEDURES
Water system testing and reporting shall be performed in accordance with instrumentation and procedures as defined within the 2005 NEBB

Instrumentation
The following is a listing of proposed instrumentation used for data acquisition. Sample formats and test instrumentation submitted shall comply with data acquisition and reporting requirements set forth within the current NEBB
Procedural Standards for Testing, Adjusting and Balancing of Environmental Systems.
Calibration histories of actual instrumentation used will be provided with final test report. Instruments utilized comply with identified range and accuracy requirements.
SOUND TEST PROCEDURES
Sound testing and reporting shall be performed in accordance with instrumentation and procedures as defined within the 2006 NEBB
Procedural Standards for the Measurement and Assessment of Sound & Vibration.
Instrumentation
All sound tests will be performed with a CESVA Model Precision Sound Level Meter and Octave Ban Analyzer. This instrument conforms to ANS1 S1.4 Type 1 and 1EC 179 and is ideal for ASHA compliance measurements. We carry a CESVA CB-5 Calibrator with the instrument at all times and meter calibration is verified before performing sound level testing.
Timing
Sound level measurements will be performed when the space is relatively quiet with a minimum of activity and background noise.
Specific Test Procedures
The microphone will be positioned no closer than three feet from any floor, wall or ceiling, or no closer than six feet from any terminal or room unit. Sound pressure levels will be tested as prescribed in project specifications.
Reports
1. The following data shall be included on final report:
2. Measurements at the specified frequencies with the tested equipment turned on.
3. Measurements at the specified frequencies with the tested equipment turned off.
4. Corrective calculation, if required, between equipment noise and ambient noise levels.
5. The "Equipment Components" of the room sound level.Graphical representation of equipment component, if required.
6. Identification of test location.
BUILDING SYSTEMS COMMISSIONING
All procedures and reporting shall be performed in accordance with procedures as defined within the NEBB 2009
Procedural Standards for Building Systems Commissioning of Environmental Systems, and Project Specifications.
